•           The MedGem is a clinically-validated and FDA 510K-cleared, class II, medical device for measurement of patient resting metabolic rate (RMR)
  Unlike estimation formulas such as Harris-Benedict or Katch-McArdle which assume metabolic rates based on broad population averages, often leading to miscalculations of 20% or more, the MedGem provides precise, patient-specific data in minutes.
